1979... my first year of High School. Conveniently located across the street was Adriens Cycle. A favorite past-time soon became admiring the new CB750F. Years since, I've come to appreciate the lines, the style and the simplicity of this bike and its relatives (CB900F, CBX). While I continued to off-road with my Kawasaki KE100, I knew that someday I would have one. My KE lasted me from 77 to 93, through high school, college, and even the the first few years of marriage and kids. My son learned to to ride the dirt pits between my knees hanging on the the cross bar when he was only three. I finally found the bike in August of 1993. It has been a real labour of love (definitely not worth all the $$$ I have into it!). It was in pretty rough shape and since I bought it in 1994 I've stripped it down to the frame and did a ground-up rejuvenation. The only continuing problem I seem to have is keeping a back tire on it.....

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
It's been a while since I've updated my page, sorry to disappear off the face of the earth.....but there were some major changes in my life over the past two years. I've moved, crashed my bike, diversified my interests, and have just been plain lazy. I now live in Jacksonville Florida, spent some time restoring an old VW and have been enjoying the southern winters and the great weather. Due to a combination of my accident and the US import laws, I was unable to keep my bike in the US with me. I exported it within the year required under the law, and am currently looking for the pieces I need to rebuild it from the ground up again.
I need a frame which I can title in Florida. I've successfully found a number of pieces on Ebay, the most recent of which is a new fuel tank. It is in great shape - no rust, only a tiny ding and easily fixed up. I also need an instrument cluster, an alternator cover (right engine side) and headlight assembly. I've picked up a new rear fender and a set of forks off of a 900F so once I get a frame I can begin the rebuild process.
If you happen to have a titled frame for sale, please contact me at ttremble@msn.com
